20代の頃、ワーキングホリデーでカナダに行った際、日本語講師の女性と出会い影響を受け、 帰国後日本語教師を目指す。資格取得後、2011年より日本語講師として活動開始。西アフリカや北アフリカの国で日本語を教えたり、国内も東京をはじめ、いろいろな町に暮らす留学生や働く外国の方々に日本語を教えたりしてきました。 現在、沖縄県在住。日々、旅するように暮らしている日本語講師です。
When I was in my twenties, I went to Canada on a working holiday. There, I met a Japanese teacher who inspired me to follow the same path. After coming back to Japan, I earned my teaching qualification and started working as a Japanese teacher in 2011.
Since then, I’ve taught in Benin and Morocco, as well as in Japan, helping international students and working people in Tokyo and many other towns. Now, I’m based in Okinawa, living each day like a little adventure as a Japanese teacher.
経歴 Career history
20代の頃ベナン共和国の日本語学校に１年派遣され、日本語教育に従事。
帰国後は、技能実習生や留学生への日本語指導、介護福祉士候補者への研修を担当し、その後再びアフリカへ。
青年海外協力隊としてモロッコの大学に派遣され、任期を完了。
現在は沖縄に拠点を移し、日本語講師として活動を続けている。
In my twenties, I was dispatched to a Japanese language school in the Republic of Benin for one year, where I worked as a Japanese language instructor.
After returning to Japan, I taught Japanese to technical intern trainees and international students, and also conducted training for prospective certified care workers. I later returned to Africa once again.
As a member of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, I was assigned to a university in Morocco and completed my term of service.
I am now based in Okinawa, where I continue my work as a Japanese language teacher.
